Helping new strong local food brands arise

Dairy food producers are turning to markets such as Africa: Growth in established markets is low while, population is increasing in emerging countries, which, and where there is an increasing interest in dairy products. Recently, Arla Foods announced both the shipping of a portable packaging unit to Africa and new alliances in the continent to boost its “distribution backbone” – referred in a previous post linked here.

At Blendhub we have no doubt that the future of the food sector obliges us all to think local and act global. But, we understand that to really contribute to the reduction of hunger and malnutrition, participation from local strong players in those new markets is required. For that, our business model goes far beyond looking for local partners to penetrate new markets or to increase distribution. We want to facilitate the creation of new strong local brands. And we have all the necessary knowledge and infrastructure to make it possible.

We offer local food producers optimally located production capacity through the world’s first portable and modular factory for the handling, blending, and packaging of food powder formulations anywhere in the world and in the supply chain at an optimal competitive cost and ensuring quality assurance through a cloud based 24/7 control system. Our technology allows local companies to consolidate their business, using local raw materials, operating locally and with local manpower – and being fully operational launching their own branded B2B and B2B food products with the highest food safety, lower price per kilo and without operational or financial risk.

Our PPB factory is supported by Blendhub’s full-service platform which includes, among others, mapping of where to find raw materials for any formulation, NIR library creation, supply chain management, online IT process control of our PPB and an operational model including adapted reporting and the connection to our clients’ ERP, and a final project offer which can be fully executed and financed by Blendhub.

Additionally, we can help new players launch their brands by eliminating for them the financial and operational risk trough our unique business model.

Be part of our network. Let’s connect food industries worldwide!
